Greece 2022

During the experience exchange trip this summer, together with my colleagues, I had the opportunity to get acquainted with the study work organization in one of the study centers on the island of Crete. At the College of Law, my duties are related to the organization and management of distance learning, so it was very useful to compare how the study process is organized elsewhere.
Lifelong learning center “Oloklirosi” (founded in 1995) is in Agia Varvara. It offers a wide spectrum of continuing education, i.e. education and professional training services for the unemployed, socially disadvantaged groups of the population, and also for the employed on modern topics that meet the real needs of the labor market, including various types of qualification improvement, business consulting, as well as training and consulting in legal and tax matters. The training center has a cooperation network with the largest companies, so they are also open to cooperation to provide our students with internships.
Thanks to the Greek colleagues who welcomed us and introduced us not only to the educational institution, but also to cultural objects and national cuisine. Erasmus+ mobility gave not only experience in the professional field, but also a broader perspective on life in another country, its culture and people.
