We participated in the international conference “Sustainability and Globalization” in Bulgaria, organized by Burgas Free University, as part of the Erasmus+ mobility program between 06.06.-10.06.2023. The conference had representatives from almost 20 countries covering a wide geographical area – Europe, South America, South Africa, Asia.

As part of the event, we talked about the College of Law, introduced the higher education system in Latvia, emphasizing the advantages of the college and student opportunities.

During the conference, I shared my experience on document management – “Problems of retention periods for personnel management documents”, promoting discussions and expressing opinions, with the active involvement of conference participants.

During the conference, colleagues from universities of other countries got to know each other, further possible cooperation was encouraged. As part of the Erasmus+ program, there was also getting to know the culture and history of Bulgaria by visiting several historical places, as well as visiting a nature reserve. The social evening of all the participants remained in the memory, when presenting the most typical food of each country, not only the culture of food, but also the country itself was introduced.

I consider participation in the Erasmus+ program to be excellent, it broadened my horizons and enriched my experience and knowledge, which I will be able to apply in my daily duties.
