The reports of the annual international scientific conference have been gathered in this publication where the research of academic personnel and foreign colleagues have been included. The research is closely tied to the study process and the achievement of the strategic goal of the college – to prepare theoretically knowledgeable and practically capable specialists who are in high demand on the job market. This would not be possible without a modern and professional skillset, which only a knowledgeable and professional lecturer can provide. Students also participate in the scientific process by preparing reports during study courses and finishing their thesis at the end of their studies. The authors of the best theses are offered a chance to publish their work in the academic book. This year’s book features research about the administration and management of real estate, main aspects of accounting and salary calculation, public procurements, cyber hygiene.

Alumni Council meeting on October 17
For the Autumn meeting, the Board of Graduates meets on 17 October 2023. Beginning at 18.00. On the agenda, questions regarding the content of short cycle vocational higher education study programs, recommendations for improvement thereof, possibilities for continuation of studies for acquisition of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in higher education institutions in Latvia and abroad, experience of ERASMUS + practice.
Association of Security Professionals
On April 20, 2023, the chairman of the board of the Association of Security Professionals Artūrs Āmars and the director of the College of Law Intra Lūce, concluded a memorandum of cooperation on joint cooperation in the field of security and the development of its industry.
Association “Mājoklis”
The College of Law has become a member of the association from January 2023. The association undertakes to represent the interests of the college in the relations between the state and the industry, providing the opportunity to participate in the activities of working groups, as well as in other association events, to visit the offices of regional departments.

College of Law became a member of the Association of Outsourced Accountants of the Republic of Latvia.
Burgas Free University
Burgas Free University and the College of Law signed a cooperation agreement on 3 September 2021, which allows for many different activities with Bulgarian colleagues in the near future: involvement of teachers and students in the Erasmus + mobility program, exchange of information, participation in conferences and production of scientific publications, guest lectures.
Utena University of Applied Sciences
An agreement has been signed with the administration of the Utena University of Applied Sciences on cooperation opportunities to allow College graduates acquire professional Bachelor in Lithuania, continuing education at later study stages (08.10.2015).
The Academic information centre informs that the professional Bachelor degree, acquired in Lithuania, shall be aligned with the Bachelor degree, acquired in Latvia, and allows continuing studies in Master degree programs.
Vidzeme University
On March 20, 2015 the Director of the College of Law Tālavs Jundzis and the rector of Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences Gatis Krūmiņš signed the cooperation agreement, which allows the College graduates to acquire professional Bachelor degree, continuing education at later study stages.
Business University Turība
The cooperation agreement signed between SIA “Juridiskā koledža” and the Business University Turība (31.10.2006) stipulates bilateral cooperation in improvement and development of the study process and applied research, improvement of education level and exchange of pedagogical and teaching work.
