Our activities are based on the motto “quality matters!”

The objective of quality policy is to contribute to the implementation of the mission of the College of Law by defining guidelines and principles by which it is possible to ensure a consistently high quality of college activities, maintain a progress towards a continuous improvement of quality in order to achieve strategic development objectives.

Quality management

The activity of the College of Law has been assessed in accordance with:

– ISO 9001:2015 “Quality Management Systems. Requirements”,

– “Investor in Excellence”,

– “Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area”

– ENQA (European Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education) requirements.

The College of Law is represented by Agnese Gailuma at the LKA Conference

The Association of Colleges of Latvia hosted the second Conference on Scientific Research and innovative solutions for College students on March 30, 2023 . The Conference “Education. Growth. sustainability” conference brought together 28 participants online, as well as many guests from ministries and colleges. The aim of the event was to promote scientific research activity and cross-sectoral cooperation among students. The College of Law was represented by our 2022 graduate student Agnese Gailuma, who gave a report on the study conducted during the studies “Ensuring the sanitization of premises in buildings.”

Association of Security Professionals

On April 20, 2023, the chairman of the board of the Association of Security Professionals  Artūrs Āmars and the director of the College of Law Intra Lūce, concluded a memorandum of cooperation on joint cooperation in the field of security and the development of its industry.

International Science Week 2023

The activities of the International Science Week were attended by students and lecturers of the College of Law, as well as graduates, teaching staff of our cooperating universities from abroad and other interested parties.

As part of the event, there were discussions, an international scientific conference, a guest lecture by Andris Piebalgs, and at the end – the traditional bowling tournament.

Association “Mājoklis”

The College of Law has become a member of the association from January 2023. The association undertakes to represent the interests of the college in the relations between the state and the industry, providing the opportunity to participate in the activities of working groups, as well as in other association events, to visit the offices of regional departments.

College of Law

The College of Law is the first state accredited college in Latvia and it has been granted the rights to issue state recognized documents for the acquiring of first level professional higher education. The College was founded in 2000, accredited in 2001 (accreditation No. 027). We offer studies in Riga and 4 branches: Gulbene, Liepāja, Valmiera and Ventspils. 

Currently the College of Law offers study programs in several accredited study directions:
LAW     (program – Law)
MANAGEMENT, ADMINISTRATION AND REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT  (programs: human resource management, real estate management, security and personal data protection)

ECONOMICS    (program – accounting and finances)

Study duration 2-2.5 years

College of Law became a member of the AOARL

College of Law became a member of the Association of Outsourced Accountants of the Republic of Latvia.

Burgas Free University

Burgas Free University and the College of Law signed a cooperation agreement on 3 September 2021, which allows for many different activities with Bulgarian colleagues in the near future: involvement of teachers and students in the Erasmus + mobility program, exchange of information, participation in conferences and production of scientific publications, guest lectures.

Utena University of Applied Sciences

An agreement has been signed with the administration of the Utena University of Applied Sciences on cooperation opportunities to allow College graduates acquire professional Bachelor in Lithuania, continuing education at later study stages (08.10.2015).

The Academic information centre informs that the professional Bachelor degree, acquired in Lithuania, shall be aligned with the Bachelor degree, acquired in Latvia, and allows continuing studies in Master degree programs.
